Certified Brain State Conditioning™ Technician, Consultant, Certified CA Peer Counselor

Kristen has a rich and broad administrative and direct services background.  She has worked with boards of directors, executives, and government officials in a variety of capacities including fundraising, training, legislation, and governance.  Kristen is the creative executive officer and lead technician/trainer for Brain Guidance LLC.   Her background includes experience as a staff therapist with autistic children, and thus brings exceptional skills and knowledge in serving children and parents.  She has an insatiable quest for continued knowledge and personal growth, and has completed all coursework toward certification as a professional life coach, has studied Sociology at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento and is also a Certified Peer Counselor in the State of California.  Kristen has volunteered in Recreational Therapy for the Burn Unit at the Shriners Children's Hospital, and as a Crisis Line Worker and Sexual Assault Advocate at WEAVE.

Nicolette's career in organizational change management spans several continents and several successful organizations.  She was recruited to Sacramento in 2002 to serve as Executive Director of WEAVE, Inc., a nationally acclaimed counseling center and human services organization serving Sacramento County.  Previous to this appointment, Nicolette directed two other service corporations whose missions focused on training methodologies to improve and increase human potential.  Her leadership and the organizations she has directed have received numerous awards and recognition, including a congressional honor for co-authoring and piloting a national health program while serving in the Peace Corps.

Her academic background in Psychology and Business, combined with eighteen years of leading organizational turnarounds, start ups, and corporate/cultural restructuring programs make her a sought after resource in performance management and leadership.  She co-founded Brain Guidance after extensive research in neuroscience and identifying a cutting edge technology that teaches individuals how to improve their own brain functioning.
